Webb Reunion and Salt Lake trip

This weekend we traveled to Salt Lake to go to a family reunion on my biological mom's side of the family. My cousins and I decided that we should not just get together for funerals, but for happy occasions. We have only seen each other the past few years for my mom's and grandpa's funerals so it was high time we got together for some reason other than that. Of course, seeing my relatives of my mom and grandpa made me miss them and think of them even more, but it was really great to get together and visit with my cousins, aunt's and uncles. It is sad that we don't keep in better touch, but I am hoping we start doing the reunions on a more regular basis.
It has been so fun this summer to get to spend time with my brother's family. They have lived in Maryland for 3 years and they are moving to Germany for the next 3. They came and stayed with us for a few days in July and then we got to see them again at the reunion. This is their youngest Xander alongside Mr. Muscles himself, Braden.
This is Ron and Steph's daughter Gabby with Aubree. They loved hanging out and got along great! They are only 9 months apart and had a lot in common.
Here is Ron and Steph's oldest, Abby, with Kylee. They are about 10 months apart and had so much fun together. They both love animals and seemed to really like hanging out.
I love this pic of Steph and Ron! We are going to miss them. It would be awesome if we could figure out a way to visit them in Germany while they are there.
Here is the group pic of the family reunion! It is crazy that we all have all these kids! I remember when I was a kid along with all my cousins and we would play at these reunions. Now we are the grown-ups! My cousin Wendy put it together and even had fun games for the kids to play.

On the way there, we stopped in Springville for a wedding. One of the girls I taught in Young Women's in Houston, TX was getting married and I wanted to see her. She converted to the church when I was the YW Pres. in Houston so she has a special place in my heart. She has since gone on a mission and gone to BYU. I'm sure her life has not been easy since her family has not been supportive of her decisions but she is a strong girl and I admire her.
