Every year we take a trip out to the sand dunes near Green River, Utah! This year we didn't have as many people come, but it was still a lot of fun. All of Gary's siblings came and our kids had a blast with their cousins.
Braden was in heaven because he got to play with his cousins and the sand dunes all in one day.

Weird bug in the sand. There were some strange beetles, stink bugs and other interesting bugs in the sand. Aubree showed her morbid side by catching one of the big beetles and banging it over and over again with a sand shovel! She picked it up after the head was chopped off and the guts were still dangling from it. YUCK Aubree!
We had a bit of a problem getting home after we were done. Widge mangaged to get his truck stuck in the sand. There was a killer hill that the trucks had a really difficult time getting up. It ended up taking an extra long time to get everyone home to the Q house. I went on ahead in a 4-wheeler because our car was parked above the hills. I went to the house and got the chicken noodle soup warmed up.
This is Wendy. She is Gary's cousin. She was fun to get to know better since we went back early (with Aunt Sue too) to get the soup going.
Braden LOVED the soup! It's his fave.

I think the day REALLY wore out Braden! He played, and played and played!
