"Mom, I forgot to Stop, Drop and Roll." Kylee after she got burned by a firecracker. June 2011
"Mom, I tooted and a little bit of poop came out. It was a 'toot poop'." Braden
"Mom, I went poop and it was juicy. It is called 'juicy poop'" Braden
"Commercials on the radio lie. That commercial just said that they have the best eye doctors and I know that dad is the best eye doctor so even the radio doesn't tell the truth." Aubree -Jan. 11, 2011
Braden leans over to Gary and whispers, "FART". Gary laughs. Braden leans over to Gary and says, "Mom doesn't think farts are funny but you do, huh?! I think farts are funny too." -Jan. 2011
Me: "You have 5 minutes until you have to go to the bus!" Kylee: "No, we have 4 minutes. It's 8:18 and we have to leave at 8:21" Anything to do with time, Kylee is very literal and exact. She does this with EVERYTHING! -Every day
Aubree tells us about the store she is going to invent when she grows up. It is going to have rides and bump n jumps. They are going to sell lots of yummy things. They are also going to grow flowers and sell flowers. She adds things that they are going to sell and lets us know. She also tells us various names that she will call it. The one she is sticking with these days is, "Happy Times". Sounds like everyone would be happy with a place like this! -July-Dec. 2010
"There is no way you and dad would buy all this stuff for us so I know that Santa is real. Plus I really did see him last year putting out presents. I had to get up to go to the bathroom. He was leaning over his pack and he didn't see me but I saw him" Kylee-Dec.2010
I am a stay-at-home mom and have 3 beautiful children. Kylee, age 8, is funloving, carefree and loves to give hugs and kisses. She has a great memory and surprises me with the things she remembers. She loves math. Aubree is 6 and insists she is still a "little girl, not a big girl." She forever wants to be the baby of the family but she totally adores her baby brother. She spends her days in leotards, dresses and anything girly. She can be stubborn and can turn on the charm to get her way. Braden will be 4 in Feb. and a great boy! He is so fun and loves to play with all of us.
As for me, I grew up in Salt Lake, (various places)went to CEU where I met my future husband, got married, moved to SLC while Gary went to the University of Utah and I went to work as a recruiter for an employment agency. We moved to Houston, TX for 5 years while Gary got his degree in Optometry and I continued working as a recruiter (which I absolutely loved)and later I started having babies! We moved to Fruita in 2002 and I began my career as a full-time mommy!
